Audrey and her Piglet Pal. They're just hanging out...sharing a few hugs.
Mommy made the mistake of looking away for a few seconds. Heather and Christopher decided that Audrey was lonely in her bouncy seat.

Audrey is being introduced to the teddy bear that Daddy got her when she was born by her big sister. Heather likes to hold Audrey and have "girl talk" with her.

This is our tree this year. It's a 7 1/2 footer! Do you have any idea how hard it is to decorate a tree that is 2 1/2 feet taller than you are!!??!!

Jerry and I had agreed that we wouldn't exchange gifts this year...apparantly, we both have hearing problems!

The kids loved opening their presents. According to the oldest ones, Santa did a pretty good job this year.

Christopher got a shaving kit for Christmas and Daddy was showing him how to shave. Christopher laughed the entire time because it tickled!

Mommy put Audrey in Christopher's stocking...poor little thing fit perfectly! Daddy said that she was the perfect Christmas gift!

Grandma and PaPa with Heather, Christopher, Zachary, and Audrey.

Our poor little pumpkin is so small that her first bed was a laundry basket!! She fit perfectly AND she was portable.

Grandma and PaPa are thrilled with their newest granddaughter!

Audrey Katharine Marie Farias was born on December 5, 2006 at 10:19am. She weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. and was 17 1/2 inches long. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky. Jerry, the kids, and I went to visit Mom and Dad for Thanksgiving and I started having contractions. The hospital advised me, strongly, against traveling back to Louisiana. Grandma and Grandpa sure weren't upset that she decided to make her debut in Owensboro. Uncle Bubby was a bit scared of her because she is so small. :-) She is an adorable, precious little angel. Heather told Grandma that her baby sister is "like a doll, only with batteries." Christopher has declared her "cool" and "cute" and says that we can keep her. Zachary is fascinated with her and is always wanting to see her and touch her cheeks with his little finger. And, of course, Daddy thinks that his baby girl is a definite keeper. He was a little scared of her at first too. I would hand her to him and he would go pale...hahaha. Now he is more comfortable and I think he realizes that she won't break. Our family is now complete and we are thrilled with all of our "Crawdad Critters."

One of the MANY paddle boats near where we live. This one is on Lake Ponchartrain, about 20 minutes from our house.

Grandma has her lap full during our visit in September. I think she's gonna need a bigger lap!

The kids and I spent most of the month of September in Kentucky visiting before we moved into our new house in Louisiana. Here, they are helping Grandpa celebrate his 70th Birthday!

We had quite an eclectic Halloween this year. Heather was a bride, Zachary was Humpty Dumpty, and Christopher was a pirate. I made Christopher's costume this year...yes, I am impressed too...hahaha.

Zachary got his very first haircut on November 7. GOODBYE CURLS!!!

"Are you sure that you know what you are doing?" "Only a little off the top please!"

His curls are all gone!! Now he looks like a big boy and not my baby anymore!

Christopher wanted to make sure that he had candles on his birthday cake. He blew them all out... all by himself!

Zachary's favorite part of the birthday party was the cake. He decided that using his hands was much faster than using his fork.

Christopher turned 3 on November 7. He got an Elmo toolbench, drill, goggles, and toolbelt. He now goes to "work" everyday...just like Daddy!

Welcome to our blog!

We are creating this blog so that our friends and family can keep up with the kids and how much they are changing. They all seem to change every day!
