Our Uninvited Guest

This is Bernard. He is a bat that decided that he would rather live in the house with us than outside. We aren't sure when he got in, but Christopher saw him first.
Mr. Macho trying to snatch Bernard...lol. It was sooooo funny!!
This is the last picture I managed to take of our bat removal. Right after I took this picture Bernard flew right at me and made me scream like I've never screamed before...lol. Smart me decided to shut myself in the room with Jerry and the bat. So exciting to live in our house!

Visiting with Dad

NOTE: THESE ARE THE LAST PICTURES WE HAVE OF DAD. HE PASSED AWAY ON APRIL 22, 2008. I MISS YOU DADDY!!!

We went to see my Dad the day after Christmas. We spent a lot of time with him and he had a ball showing off his grandkids.

Christmas Day

Santa brought all kinds of goodies! He even brought, and assembled, a kitchen for the kids.

Christmas Eve 2007

Since certain members of my family (MOM!) decided to buy out clothing/toy stores for Christmas, we decided to open gifts from family on Christmas Eve. Then, Santa came that night and left even more presents! Thank goodness we have the "get-one give-one away" rule!

Itty Bitty is One!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Audrey's first birthday "cake".
She completely demolished her cupcake! I'm pretty sure that she managed to eat some of it too...lol.
Opening her presents with Daddy and siblings.
Her new toy! It makes so many noises and sounds - she dances all the time with it!
Mommy and her baby girl on the big day! My itty bitty turned ONE!!
Kisses for the birthday girl!
She looks so angelic - looks can be deceiving though....hehehehehe!
"WHOO HOO!!!! I made it to a year-old!!!!!!!!!"
Her birthday table.

Getting Ready for Christmas!

Our Christmas tree this year. The bottom half was done in shatterproof ornaments. Good thing since Audrey pulled at least 10 off a day...LOL.
Our Christmas photo. It took 23 shots (yes, I said 23) before I got one I could use! It was worth the effort though!

Thanksgiving 2007

I think he's ready to chow down! He was sooo ready for our Thanksgiving feast.
Heather recited a Thanksgiving poem, "Thank You, God" before we ate. She memorized it so that she could recite it for the family before we ate.
"Mommy, put the camera down and give me food!!!"
I guess Daddy makes an excellent pillow! So sweet!

Family Fun

Audrey hanging out with Daddy!
Isn't he so handsome!!
Trying to be Daddy. I think he's got some growing to do! Haha
Sharing ice cream with Daddy.
Hanging out in the "Man Room" before dinner.

Playing in the Leaves

Trying to help Daddy use the leaf blower. She kept stepping on the cord - Daddy wasn't getting too much done...lol.
Heather made a leaf bed.
My little Christopher playing in the leaves...he was practicing his diving skills (and making more work for Daddy hehehe)
Daddy thought that Zachary was a leaf!! Poor little man!!
My itty bitty had a GREAT time playing in the leaves.
