Of Mice and Monkeys

These are the baby mice that I found in the top of Jerry's toolbox. I found them after I chased their Mommy away. I didn't know that she had babies!!! But, we bundled them up in some rags and she did come back for them. Poor Jerry is running a Mousie Nursery in his toolbox...hehehe.
Look closely and you will see a monkey in that tree! The biggest monkey I've ever seen.

Easter 2008

The Easter Bunny was very sneaky and hid the Easter baskets this year! The kids had to search for them and had to look in some very weird places...lol.

Heather's 8th Birthday

Heather's birthday dinner.

Watching Sissy open her presents.

Audrey and the Chicken

Audrey riding the stuffed chicken that Grandma gave her.
Trying to carry her chicken and her sippy cup at the same time - not very easy!
She's being stalked by the chicken!! Aaahhhh!!!!

She Lost a Tooth!

Heather finally lost her tooth!

SNOW!!!!!

The scarves that Heather made for herself and her brothers and sister. She is quite crafty!
Playing in the snow.
Don't eat the snowman!!!!!!!
Jerry making snow angels.
Our poor, pathetic snowman...LOL.
Audrey in her snowsuit. Poor little thing could barely walk.
WIPEOUT!!!

Our Uninvited Guest

This is Bernard. He is a bat that decided that he would rather live in the house with us than outside. We aren't sure when he got in, but Christopher saw him first.
Mr. Macho trying to snatch Bernard...lol. It was sooooo funny!!
This is the last picture I managed to take of our bat removal. Right after I took this picture Bernard flew right at me and made me scream like I've never screamed before...lol. Smart me decided to shut myself in the room with Jerry and the bat. So exciting to live in our house!

Visiting with Dad

NOTE: THESE ARE THE LAST PICTURES WE HAVE OF DAD. HE PASSED AWAY ON APRIL 22, 2008. I MISS YOU DADDY!!!

We went to see my Dad the day after Christmas. We spent a lot of time with him and he had a ball showing off his grandkids.

Christmas Day

Santa brought all kinds of goodies! He even brought, and assembled, a kitchen for the kids.

Christmas Eve 2007

Since certain members of my family (MOM!) decided to buy out clothing/toy stores for Christmas, we decided to open gifts from family on Christmas Eve. Then, Santa came that night and left even more presents! Thank goodness we have the "get-one give-one away" rule!
